This series of representations manage to facilitate the understanding of non-evident relationships between the perception of colour as a phenomenon related to light and spatial, scale and material hierarchies. As colour is not a quality that manifests itself in a pure manner but depends on the context, it is subject to the expressive conditions of the physical substance that sustains them. Given this expressive dependence, the colour of a place or certain elements of a place can condition our affective perception of it. Thus, space can be perceived as cold equally by its temperature and by the colour of its surfaces. This research plays with colour to communicate other non-dimensional qualities of existing architectural works.
